Mack visited the Saints in April. An undrafted free agent in 2008, Mack has appeared in at least 12 games each of the past four seasons, but made only four starts. Wed Apr 21 2010 | 12:24 | Bucs retain ERFA Elbert Mack |
Bucs re-signed exclusive rights free agent CB Elbert Mack. |
Mack, 24 in July, saw too much action as Tampa Bay's nickel back last year, struggling badly in pass coverage and doing little to help the Bucs' awful run defense. He did have three picks, but ideally would be no more than a dime back moving forward. The Bucs need badly to draft a corner on Friday. |
