Brady Poppinga got the first-team reps at left outside linebacker ahead of Brad Jones on Wednesday.
It's a pretty big surprise considering the Packers have been talking up Jones after he started eight games as a rookie. The Packers are apparently fine with a competition between Poppinga and Jones because they haven't addressed the position at all in the offseason. It could end up as one of the weak points in their defense.
