Mon Jun 16 201415:59Dallas Clark retires after 11-year NFL career
Former Colts and Ravens TE Dallas Clark has retired from football.
He'll formally retire as a Colt on Wednesday. A one-time Pro Bowler and All Pro (2009), Clark was one of the NFL's premier "move" tight ends with Peyton Manning in Indianapolis during the late 2000s. A sticky-handed possession threat, Clark finishes his career with 505 catches for 5,665 yards (11.2 YPR) and 53 touchdowns. Clark was a top-five fantasy tight end in 2007, 2008, and 2009. The 35-year-old spent 2012 with the Bucs and 2013 in Baltimore.

Wed Feb 19 201415:22'No chance' Ravens re-sign Dallas Clark
ESPN Ravens reporter Jamison Hensley admits there's "no chance" the team re-signs free agent Dallas Clark.
Clark, 35 in June, is expected to retire if he doesn't find a market for his services, which will likely happen. The Ravens will try to sign Dennis Pitta to a long-term deal or franchise-tag him, while looking for another tight end in the draft to bolster the position.

Wed Jan 15 201420:41Dallas Clark undecided on NFL future
Impending free agent TE Dallas Clark is undecided on if he wants to continue his playing career.
Clark opened 2013 as a surprisingly large part of the Ravens' offense, but was a healthy scratch each of the final four weeks. When Clark did take the field, he looked like a player who was near, if not already at, the end. Last offseason, Clark went unsigned until mid-August. Extremely unlikely to generate interest on the open market, Clark will likely opt to hang up his cleats.

Sun Dec 8 201311:45Dallas Clark inactive with Pitta returning
Dallas Clark is inactive for Week 14 against the Vikings.
With Dennis Pitta (hip) making his 2013 debut, Clark is a healthy scratch. Clark was once a great pass-catching force, but it's possible he's in the final month of his career.

Sun Nov 24 201316:10Dallas Clark goes for 24 yards in Week 12
Dallas Clark managed three receptions for 24 yards in the Ravens' Week 12 win over the Jets.
Clark was a non-factor aside from dump-off, check-down passes from Joe Flacco, which has mostly been the case all season. He doesn't block well, so he doesn't play on early downs, and at age 34 Clark can no longer stretch the seam. Clark is not worth fantasy ownership in 12- or 14-team leagues.

Sun Nov 10 201318:29Dallas Clark catches one-yard TD in win
Dallas Clark caught a one-yard touchdown in Week 10 against the Bengals.
Clark was targeted just twice on the day. On his touchdown, Joe Flacco made a play to his right and found an open Clark to kick off the scoring for the Ravens. Clark's ceiling is extremely low. He's barely on the fantasy radar.

Sun Nov 3 201321:02Dallas Clark catches one pass in Week 9 loss
Dallas Clark caught one pass for 14 yards in Week 9 versus the Browns.
Clark saw just the one target. He's been far too inconsistent this season to possess any real fantasy value. Clark's ceiling is extremely low.

Sun Oct 20 201320:21Dallas Clark gets a late TD
Dallas Clark caught three passes for nine yards with a touchdown in Sunday's Week 7 loss at Pittsburgh.
Clark's touchdown came with 2:02 left in the fourth quarter and tied the game. He did well to wriggle free of Ryan Clark in the back of the end zone. Still, Clark is a shell of his former self and needs tons of volume to put up helpful statlines. We'd move on to a tight end with higher upside during the Ravens' Week 8 bye.

Sun Oct 13 201317:39Dallas Clark has 4/81/1 day vs. Packers
Dallas Clark caught four passes for 81 yards and a touchdown in Baltimore's Week 6 loss to the Packers.
With just 2:04 remaining, Clark made an excellent 18-yard catch in traffic for his first touchdown of the season. Clark now has at least four catches in four of six games, but has posted more than 46 yards only twice. He's averaging just 3.3 grabs. He's a middling TE2.

Fri Sep 6 201302:03Dallas Clark has seven-catch night
Dallas Clark caught seven passes for 87 yards in Baltimore's Week 1 loss to the Broncos.
Don't let the stat-line fool you: Clark was brutal this evening. He committed no fewer than three drops, one of which was a gimme touchdown on 3rd-and-goal. He appeared staggered by every hit, and would have had a lost fumble if not for a Broncos penalty. Put simply, Clark looked old and slow, and had no business drawing 12 targets. The Ravens are just that short on able-bodied pass catchers right now. Clark is little more than a desperation TE2 for fantasy purposes.

Sun Aug 11 201317:37Mutual interest between Ravens & Dallas Clark
The Baltimore Sun reports there is "mutual interest" between the Ravens and free agent Dallas Clark.
ESPN's Adam Schefter suggested earlier in the day on Twitter that Clark "could get a deal done this week." The Ravens are his likeliest landing spot. Baltimore has become awfully thin at tight end and slot receiver, losing Anquan Boldin (trade) and Dennis Pitta (hip) since last year, and Deonte Thompson to an ankle injury in the preseason opener. Clark is more slot receiver than tight end.

Sun Aug 11 201315:13Dallas Clark appears close to deal with team
ESPN's Adam Schefter reports free agent TE Dallas Clark intends to play this season and "a deal could get done this week."
The obvious assumption on a landing spot is Baltimore, where Clark has strong ties to OC Jim Caldwell from their Indianapolis days. Clark is 34 years old with very little left in the tank, but the Ravens are desperate for pass-catching help at the short and intermediate levels. Clark could be a middling stopgap.

Sun Jun 23 201310:43Could Patriots be interested in Dallas Clark?
ESPN Boston believes if the Patriots sign a free-agent tight end, Dallas Clark and David Thomas would be at the top of the list.
Clark, 34, hasn't generated any buzz in free agency, but he did visit the Pats last offseason before signing with the Bucs. Thomas, 29, played for New England from 2006-08. Both players are "move" tight ends. It's expected that the Patriots will give their in-house options long looks before diving into free agency.

Thu Jan 24 201320:15Bucs want to re-up with Clark for another yr
The Tampa Tribune reports the Bucs would like to re-sign impending free agent Dallas Clark for "at least" another year.
Clark came over from the Colts on a one-year deal in 2012 and posted 47 catches for 435 yards and four touchdowns. "I was certainly happy with the way Dallas Clark played this year. He played 16 solid games and he stayed healthy, which is what a lot of people's concerns were," said GM Mark Dominik. The Bucs would be better off going younger at the position with second-year TE Luke Stocker.

Sun Dec 30 201218:40Dallas Clark held without a catch in Week 17
Dallas Clark was held without a catch on one target at Atlanta in Week 17.
Clark took a backseat to Luke Stocker, who caught three of five targets for 50 yards. Failing to crack the top 20 fantasy tight ends, Clark finished his first season in Tampa with 47 receptions, 435 yards, and four touchdowns. Turning 33 in June and offering little run-after-catch ability, Clark is unlikely to return to the Bucs as an unrestricted free agent.
