It's tough to see this level of volume as the beginning of a trend rather than a one-week quirk considering Tamme's unimpressive numbers coming into this contest.

Tamme signed with Atlanta after spending the previous three years with the Broncos and appears to be the favorite to start at tight end in the early going. While he was stuck playing behind Julius Thomas in his last two seasons with Denver, Tamme still has had two seasons in his career with 50-plus receptions and would bring some veteran experience to the Falcons' offensive attack.
