Brady completed 20-of-27 passes for 275 yards and two touchdowns in Sunday's 30-6 win at Dallas. He also scored on a one-yard touchdown.
Brady was under a lot of pressure in the first half, taking four sacks, but turned it on over the final 30 minutes, tossing touchdown passes to Dion Lewis and Julian Edelman. He took a wicked shot in the back from Greg Hardy on the TD pass to Edelman, but did not miss any snaps. Expect Brady to be fired up next week at Indianapolis, after last season's playoff win against the Colts that caused so much controversy in the offseason.

The earliest that a New York federal appeals court will hear oral arguments in the NFL's appeal of U.S. District Judge Richard Berman's Sept. 3 ruling that nullified Brady's four-game suspension, is Feb. 1, NFL.com reports.
While the oral arguments in the case could be heard as soon as the beginning of February, the report further notes that "typically, a decision is not immediately rendered once arguments occur." In any case, such a timetable reinforces that Brady will be able to play the entire 2015 regular season without the ongoing situation affecting his on-field availability.

Brady completed 33-of-42 passes for 358 yards, with two touchdowns and no interceptions in Sunday's 51-17 win over the Jaguars.
Through three weeks, Brady has compiled a nifty 9:0 TD:INT ratio, though fantasy owners will have to get by without him in Week 4, with the Patriots on bye and the team's next game not until Oct. 11 against the Cowboys.

Brady completed 38-of-59 passes for 466 yards, with three touchdowns and no interceptions in Sunday's 40-32 win over the Bills.
Brady will thus approach Week 3's contest against the Jaguars with a tidy 7:0 TD:INT ratio over back-to-back Patriots' wins. He obviously belongs in fantasy lineups, that is until Week 4, when the Patriots have their bye week.

Brady completed 25 of 32 passes for 288 yards and four touchdown in Thursday's regular-season opener against the Steelers.
Brady didn't have much trouble against a weak Pittsburgh defense, despite playing with a depleted supporting cast in the absence of WR Brandon LaFell (foot), RB LeGarrette Blount (suspension) and C Bryan Stork (concussion). Unsurprisingly, Brady honed in on Julian Edelman and Rob Gronkowski, with the former catching 11 passes for 97 yards on 12 targets, and the latter contributing a trio of touchdowns. Stork and LaFell will both be out for a good chunk of the season, but Blount will be eligible to return in Week 2 against the Bills, which isn't necessarily a good thing for Brady's owners. Buffalo has as much defensive talent as any team in the NFL, but it should at least be a good matchup for Brady's volume, even with Blount back in the mix. Brady picked the Bills apart in his only full game against them last season, completing 27 of 37 passes for 361 yards and four touchdowns. He may still be upset about his tumultuous offseason, but it doesn't seem to have affected his performance, at least not in a negative way.

Brady is among the Patriots' starters not in line to see the field in Thursday's preseason finale against the Giants, Jeff Howe of the Boston Herald reports.
Brady's expected absence Thursday in a meaningless preseason game is hardly noteworthy on its own, but it takes on added relevance in the context of the team keeping him healthy for next Thursday's regular season opener against the Steelers, now that the quarterback's four-game suspension has been nullified.
Thu Sep 3 201512:48Tom Brady: NFL To Appeal Ruling
NFL.com notes that the league plans to appeal U.S. District Judge Richard Berman's ruling Thursday, which nullified Brady's four-game suspension. "We will appeal today's ruling in order to uphold the collectively bargained responsibility to protect the integrity of the game," commissioner Roger Goodell noted Thursday, in the wake of Berman's decision.
While an NFL appeal is an expected next step in this matter, the report notes that NFL Network's Ian Rapoport relays that the league does not plan to seek an injunction to prevent Brady from suiting up for the Patriots while the appeal process plays out. While it remains to be seen how long said process will take, in the meantime -- and we don't expect any sort of quick resolution on that front -- Brady will be able to continue to serve as the Patriots' starting quarterback as the 2015 NFL season approaches.
Thu Sep 3 201510:33Tom Brady: Suspension Nullified
U.S. District Judge Richard Berman has nullified Brady's four-game suspension, NFL.com reports.
Now that his NFL-imposed ban -- which stemmed from the quarterback's alleged role in "Deflategate" -- has been overturned, Brady is eligible to play in the Patriots' Sept. 10 regular-season opener against the Steelers. While the report notes that there is no word yet on whether or not the NFL intends to file any sort of appeal, the bottom line here is that Brady is now in line to start the season at QB for the Patriots out of the gate, which clearly results in an immediate uptick in his fantasy value.

As Brady awaits Judge Richard M. Berman's ruling on the matter of the quarterback's appeal of his league-imposed four-game suspension, Jay Feely -- a member of the NFL Players Association executive committee -- speculates that Brady will be on the field for the Patriots' season opener, the Boston Herald reports.
Feely addressed the matter on the Dan Patrick on Tuesday morning, suggesting that if the ruling doesn't go Brady's way, "the NFLPA and Tom are going to appeal it." In such a scenario, Feely put forth the notion that "they'll probably get a stay and he'll play opening night. So I think either way, whether he wins or loses, he's going to play opening night." With that in mind, there are several potential outcomes here, with perhaps the least likely one being a cordial settlement between Brady and the league. In any case, the next chapter in this offeason drama is in the midst of unfolding, with some element of clarity looming by the end of the week.

Settlement talks held Monday between the NFL and Brady have failed to yield results in the quarterback's appeal of his league-imposed four-game suspension, ESPN.com reports.
Meanwhile, Judge Richard M. Berman indicated Monday that with the two sides not having settled the case, that he plans to announce a ruling, which the report relays could arrive as early as Tuesday, and no later than Friday. In any case, there should be added clarity with regard to Brady's early-season status by the end of the week, which is of strategic significance, as the Patriots open their regular season slate against the Steelers on Sept. 10.

Brady (suspension) completed 7-of-13 pass attempts for 84 yards, with a touchdown and pair of interceptions in Friday's preseason game at Carolina.
Brady played the entire first half, and struggled for most of it, until he led a nice touchdown drive right before halftime, capped by an 18-yard score to Scott Chandler. One of Brady's interceptions was a bad throw, the other came on what should have been a long completion to Aaron Dobson, before veteran Charles Tillman ripped the ball away, as the two players rolled on the ground. Despite the lackluster performance, Brady came out of the game without suffering a major injury. The third preseason game is usually when starters receive the most work, so we'll see if Brady even plays in the final exhibition game against the Giants on Thursday. Of course fantasy owners will want to continue to follow the news surrounding Brady, and if his NFL-imposed four-game suspension will be upheld.

Brady (suspension) completed 2-of-5 passes for 13 yards in Saturday's preseason game against the Saints.
All three of Brady's series Saturday resulted in three-and-outs, but more importantly, the veteran QB emerged from the game unhurt. Meanwhile, top backup Jimmy Garoppolo took over for Brady late in the first quarter of Saturday's contest, as the Patriots continue to prep the second-year signal-caller for early-season work in the event that Brady's NFL-imposed four-game suspension to start the regular season is not amended in any way.

Brady (suspension) is expected to take the field in Saturday's preseason contest at New Orleans, Mike Reiss of ESPN Boston reports.
Brady handled seven snaps in the Patriots' preseason opener against the Packers, which likely forecasts his workload Saturday. Expect coach Bill Belichick to unleash Brady a bit more, as per usual, in the third exhibition this Friday in Carolina.

Brady (suspension) worked with the Patriots' first-team offense in full team drills during Wednesday's joint practice with the Saints, the Boston Herald reports.
Previous reports suggested that Brady had planned to attend Wednesday's court hearing regarding his NFL-imposed four-game suspension, but with settlement talks on Tuesday evidently not progressing much, according to ESPN.com, the QB elected to attend the Patriots' practice on Wednesday. Meanwhile, U.S. District Court Judge Richard M. Berman has ordered Brady and NFL commissioner Roger Goodell to appear in court on Aug. 31, in the absence of a settlement prior to that date. Per the Boston Herald, unless the two sides come to a deal, Berman has indicated that he hopes to rule on the matter by Sept. 4, a date of some strategic significance, as it is six days before the Patriots open their regular season slate against the Steelers.
Tue Aug 18 201511:35Brady
Brady, who continues in his attempts to overturn his four-game NFL-imposed suspension, plans to attend Wednesday's court hearing in New York, ESPN.com reports.
Though Judge Richard Berman ruled that neither Brady nor NFL commissioner Roger Goodell are required to attend Wednesday's hearing, the QB is expected to be present for the proceedings for the second straight week. In advance of Wednesday's hearing, Brady was not present at practice for the second consecutive Tuesday, paving the way for Jimmy Garoppolo and Ryan Lindley to see added QB reps for the Patriots.

Brady saw seven snaps in Thursday's preseason opener against the Packers before being replaced at QB by Jimmy Garoppolo, ESPN's Mike Reiss reports.
Prior to his exit, Brady completed one-of-four passes for 10 yards, with the most important thing to note here is that he made it through two offensive series unscathed before turning things over to Garoppolo, who is currently in line to start at QB for the Patriots' first four games due to Brady's NFL-imposed suspension.

Brady (suspension) is in uniform in advance of Thursday's preseason game against the Packers, Mike Reiss of ESPN Boston reports.
Entering the field for warmups, Brady was wearing his typical attire, including a playsheet around his left wrist. If he does play, he'll likely be contained to one-to-two series, before yielding QB duties to Jimmy Garoppolo for most of the rest of the contest.

The Patriots are thought to be open to the possibility of Brady seeing some action in Thursday night's preseason opener against the Packers, ESPN.com reports.
That said, the report suggests that Jimmy Garoppolo, in any case, is still expected to see the majority of the team's QB reps on Thursday. If Brady does end up seeing work in a series or two, it would be with an eye toward maintaining the good playing rhythm that he has developed in training camp. Per the Boston Herald, Brady was back with the Patriots on Thursday after participating in Wednesday's settlement conference in New York related to his NFL-imposed four-game suspension to start the coming season.

Brady appears unlikely to play in Thursday's preseason opener against the Packers, NFL Network's Stacey Dales reports.
Brady missed practice Tuesday in advance of Wednesday's settlement conference with NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell in New York, which is slated to be presided by Judge Richard Berman. In the event that Brady doesn't play on Thursday, Jimmy Garoppolo -- who, for now, is slated to start the Patriots' first four regular season games -- would be in a position to see valuable preseason reps helming the team's offense in preparation for his anticipated early-season assignment. Newcomer Ryan Lindley is also on hand to serve in a reserve QB role Thursday, following the release of Matt Flynn.
Tue Aug 11 201518:03Brady (not injury-related) missed practice Tuesday
Brady (not injury-related) missed practice Tuesday, ESPN.com reports.
Per the Boston Herald,, the QB's absence was related to Wednesday's court-ordered arbitration meeting in New York City, which pertains to Brady's appeal of his four-game suspension for his alleged role in "Deflategate." It remains to be seen if there will be much movement on that front Wednesday, but this nugget is a reminder that there is still some uncertainly regarding the final outcome of Brady's NFL-imposed suspension to start the regular season. With Brady unavailable Tuesday, Jimmy Garoppolo and Ryan Lindley handled the team's QB reps in practice.
